| Sri Lanka Vs Bangladesh 3rd T20 Live Nidahas Trophy 2018 |
Nidahas Trophy 2018, the tri-national series is hosted by
Sri Lanka as it celebrates its 70th year of Independence. The island has
invited India and Bangladesh to play for the trophy. It has scheduled seven
matches and all of them will be played at R Premadasa Stadium commencing from
March 6th and will continue till 18th March. The tri-national series will be
T20 in round robin format wherein each of the team will play against each other
at least twice.
The inaugural match of the tournament was played between
India and Sri Lanka and the hosts won the first match by 5 wickets. The second
encounter is between Bangladesh and India on 8th March. Sri Lanka’s second
match in the tournament will be with Bangladesh on 10th. Sri Lanka has won the
match against India without any ease. Indian cricket squad is captained by
Rohit Sharma as Virat Kohli is rested from the tournament. India has sent its
young players for the tournament to make a mark and give the rising stars an
opportunity at international T20 in this short series.
Undoubtedly Bangladesh skipper Mahmudhullah is an extremely
talented and an amazing bowler who can mystify the players on the pitch. The
cricket selectors have rested Shakib Al Hasan from the tri-national series as
he has sustained the finger injury while playing in January. According to three
countries, T20 is such a format that any team can win on the final day. The
game can spin over in just one over and make the opposition team stronger.
